This year's conference topic is “From Innovation to Application”. The presentations during the event will address critical factors for successful translational research and development. The founding Director of the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Berlin, Prof. Dr. Stefan Kaufmann, gives the Key Note Lecture and is sharing latest insights into Tuberculosis research with us. The sessions will be grouped in Translational Research & Development, Preclinical, Licensing & Finance, Clinical Product Development and Legal & IP topics. Excellent speakers who have kindly agreed to share their experience with us will reflect on these topics from different perspectives e. g. Academia, Start-Up, Big Pharma, Regulatory, Finance and Legal/IP.
After the presentations on 6th of September the traditional get together BBQ dinner takes place at the TWINCORE park in the evening.

Please note, the 11th International VPM Days also provide continuing medical education points for physicians (“Ärztepunkte”).
