Yesterday, we kicked off the 10th year of our TRAIN Academy continuing education program, “Translational Research and Medicine: From Idea to Product,” with a festive opening ceremony.
During the event, we also bid farewell to thirteen graduates of the eighth year, who successfully completed our continuing education and now received their well-deserved certificates. At the same time, we warmly welcomed the new participants and got them in the mood for the coming months of the program.
A special highlight was the excellent keynote speech by Dr. Henrike Hartmann, who gave a comprehensive and vivid overview of the Volkswagen Foundation and its diverse funding programs, providing valuable insights into funding opportunities for research and innovation.
The afternoon was rounded off with a get-together with snacks and drinks, which offered participants an ideal opportunity to talk to each other, make new contacts, and deepen existing networks.
