We are pleased to announce the online kick-off of our project ExTENd โ Expertise & Technology Exchange Niedersachsen.
ExTENd aims to establish a central digital platform that makes research infrastructure, technologies, biobanks, services, software and scientific expertise in Lower Saxony more visible, searchable and accessible.
The first pilot focuses on omics technologies, including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics, complemented by bioinformatics, data analysis and data management. 🔬

At the kick-off, we will introduce the project to the community, outline the goals and next steps of the omics pilot and present how stakeholders will soon be able to contribute their technologies, equipment, services and expertise. 🤝
ExTENd can only become a comprehensive and useful platform with the active involvement of the community. We therefore encourage research groups, technology platforms and core facilities to contribute their technologies, equipment, services and expertise once the platform is ready for data entry. 💡
Together with our collaborating partner institutions Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, Universitรคtsmedizin Gรถttingen, Leibniz-Institut DSMZ-Deutsche Sammlung von Mikroorganismen und Zellkulturen GmbH and Niedersachsen.next BioRegioN, we are looking forward to the official kick-off of the project.
