November 24-25, 2025 at TWINCORE Hannover
We are delighted to invite you to the 2nd TRAIN Omics Days Lower Saxony, taking place November 24–25, 2025 at TWINCORE, Hannover. This inspiring Lunch-to-Lunch Conference will bring together researchers from the TRAIN partner institutes who are shaping the future of molecular and translational health research.
More than 70 people had an inspiring and enriching afternoon at the TRAIN Summer Party 🎉. We had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all TRAIN member institutions 🤝.
With the new exchange format Biomedical Transfer Circle, we have teamed up with the Innovation Center Lower Saxony (IBT) to create a platform that brings together technology transfer experts and innovation managers from academic institutions.
MoRe Health Lower Saxony has been funded with €3 Million. It will be invested in prevention, diagnosis and therapy of age-related susceptibility to infection.

In our first TRAIN Academy Keynote Lecture of 2025, Daniel Keppeler explained how optical cochlear implants could fundamentally revolutionize the hearing perception of deaf and hearing-impaired people. He showed the groundbreaking technology behind it, which will significantly enhance the quality of hearing with an implant.
